Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Visit & Reception
All current members of the California and Northwest Chapters are cordially invited to join us in Los Angeles on the afternoon of Saturday, August 13 for a visit to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures followed by a reception on site.
Beginning at 3:30pm, Patrons will have the opportunity to explore the newly-opened Academy Museum at their own pace, including the expansive permanent collection celebrating the art, techniques, and history of filmmaking as well as special exhibitions. At 5:30pm, we'll gather at Fanny's Restaurant (on the ground floor of the museum, named after film legend Fanny Brice) for a private patio cocktail reception. (Please scroll down for more information on parking, location, and COVID protocols for our visit.)
We do have a limit on our group size for this event, so we are only able to offer this invitation to current Patron members and their spouses/partners; we are not able to accommodate non-Patron guests on this occasion.
