Fountainhead Gallery Reception
All current members of the California and Northwest Chapters of the Patrons are cordially invited to the Fountainhead Gallery in Seattle, WA on Sunday, April 30th from 2:30-4:30 for an art reception hosted by Rob & Beth Crittenden.
Peruse the April Show featuring three Seattle artists, and explore other excellent pieces from a wide variety of artists. Snacks and beverages will be served, and Gabe Hanzeli will give an update on the happenings of the Northwest Patrons of the Arts of Vatican Museum.
Featured artists this spring include:
Christine Lange, who also happens to be a route organizer for the Seattle Yacht Club's Opening Day Parade. Lange's art exhibit, Opening Day, features Seattle boating scenes captured from the water. She says of her work: "Opening Day is always on the first Saturday in May, and it marks the first day of boating season on Pacific Northwest waters. Opening Day is a love letter to life on the water in the Pacific Northwest, and this art collection celebrates the coming together of the boating community before we begin another glorious summer on sparkling waters. The images are meant to capture the energy in the spring air, the nautical themes and flags, and the joy and potential for adventure of the glorious summer season ahead."
Frank Renie, who infuses his works with a humorous or whimsical touch. He paints what is in his head, and one cannot help but smile at his creations.
Gordon Spencer, a creator of impressionistic paintings of fantastical, dreamlike characters. He also depicts the landscapes of his youth from his memory of a childhood spent in a magical village in Provence.
